Rules & Policies

1. Code of Conduct

All players, parents, guardians, and spectators are expected to:

• Treat coaches, teammates, referees, facility staff, and opponents with respect at all times.
  
  

• Maintain sportsmanship on and off the court.
  
  

• Refrain from verbal or physical abuse, bullying, harassment, or inappropriate language.
  
  

• Follow directions from 801 Shooters staff without argument.
  
  

Violation: Immediate disciplinary action may include warnings, suspension, or removal from the program.

2. Attendance & Punctuality

• Players must attend all scheduled practices, games, and events unless excused in advance by the coach.
  
  

• Repeated unexcused absences may result in reduced playing time or removal from the team.
  
  

• Parents are responsible for timely drop-off and pick-up.
  
  

3. Player Safety

• No player may participate while knowingly injured or ill without coach approval.
  
  

• Players must wear appropriate footwear and gear.
  
  

• Horseplay, fighting, or unsafe behavior is strictly prohibited.
  
  

Emergency Protocol: Staff are authorized to seek medical treatment if necessary and notify parents as soon as possible.

4. Facilities & Equipment

• Players and parents must respect all facilities, equipment, and property.
  
  

• Any damage caused by a player may result in financial responsibility for repair or replacement.
  
  

• Food, gum, and drinks (except water) may be prohibited at some facilities.
  
  

5. Tryouts & Team Selection

• Team selection is at the sole discretion of the coaching staff.
  
  

• Making the team is not guaranteed; selection is based on skill, attitude, effort, and team fit.
  
  

• No appeals will be accepted regarding roster decisions.
  
  

6. Payments & Fees

• All fees must be paid according to the schedule provided.
  
  

• Late or non-payment may result in suspension or removal from the team.
  
  

• Payments are non-refundable except in exceptional circumstances at the discretion of club management.
  
  

7. Social Media & Public Behavior

• Players and parents should avoid posting negative comments about the club, coaches, or other teams online.
  
  

• The club reserves the right to remove players or limit participation if online behavior is disruptive to club culture.
  
  

8. Compliance & Liability

• Participation in 801 Shooters programs constitutes acknowledgment of the Liability Waiver & Release (can be found here or on our Instagram )

• Players and parents must follow all instructions from staff; failure to do so may result in removal from activities.
  
  

• 801 Shooters, its staff, volunteers, and facilities are not responsible for injuries, accidents, or property damage except in cases of gross negligence or intentional misconduct.
  
  

9. Media & Promotion

• By participating, players and parents consent to photos and videos being used by 801 Shooters for promotional, educational, or social media purposes.
  
  

10. Termination of Participation

• 801 Shooters reserves the right to suspend or remove any player, parent, or participant at any time for violations of rules, policies, or conduct detrimental to the club.
